PolySync, a leading developer of solutions for advanced testing and development of driverless vehicle technology, announced today that it has added the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid to the growing number of vehicles compatible with the company’s flagship DriveKit vehicle control interface.
Greg Drew, PolySync CEO, sees the addition of the Chrysler minivan as a natural move. “DriveKit provides easy, safe, and affordable drive-by-wire capability for the Pacifica, which simplifies development of driverless vehicle technology and expands the market opportunity for Chrysler,” said Drew. “And the Pacifica platform offers the size and flexibility that integrators, fleets, and mobility as a service (MaaS) partners are seeking.”
DriveKit’s innovative design allows for fast, non-destructive installation in under an hour, and gives developers easy access to the vehicle with full control of steering, brake, throttle, and gear selection.
Customer delivery of DriveKit for the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is scheduled for Q1 2019. DriveKit is also compatible with the Kia Soul EV and the Kia Niro Hybrid. For information on additional vehicles for your specific project, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
